I had been suggested a book by couple of my Voracious reader friends & sister and when 2 of my sisters say about a particular thing I for one take it very seriously.

Had been suggested this book “IKIGAI” by Hector Garcia & Francesc Miralles, Thanks to Corona lockdown i got time to finish it finally. Must say that this book had definitely made a positive impact and taught ways to live a happy life no matter come what may. So will like to share few pointers from this book although they are just bullet points and wont lead to the in-depth knowledge of the book, for that one should definitely pick this up and finish it as soon possible.

  1. Stay active; Don’t retire.
  2. Take it slow
  3. Don’t fill your stomach
  4. Surround yourself with good friends
  5. Get in shape for your next birthday
  6. Smile More
  7. Reconnect with nature
  8. Give thanks
  9. Live in the moment
  10. Follow your IKIGAI

After finding more on web for IKIGAI i found that it is a Japanese concept that means “a reason for being”. At one point of time we all have this thought in mind that why I am here or what is my purpose of being here. Finding that is utterly necessary to lead a happy life.

Will suggest go for the book and understand the concept and try to find your IKIGAI, trust me it is necessary for all of us.
